Built In Filter not Dynamic by field?

Say I have two columns:

Project - Enum/Text
Equipment - Enum/Text

And i select the built in filter on a table view,

when i select a value to filter by in the "Project" field I expected the options in the equipment field to dynamically reduce as dictated by the current filters already in place? Currently every enum field in the filter sidebar shows all unique values in that column until you specifically select a value for that field, ignoring any other filtered field. Perhaps i have something wrong.

Haven't been able to find anything in the forum related to this.

If I understand correctly, you are referring to the Search Filters.

The values do not dynamically adjust as filters for other columns are applied.  That might be a nice feature to request in the Feature Ideas section.
