Connection reset with hybrid

We use hybrid APIGW 1.8 version. Api's are deployed. Particularly with one consumer , they occasionally get connection reset error. The call is not reaching proxy. We couldn't replicate the error. It occurs intermittently. 

What could possibly be the issue? In GCP logs should I debug more in ingress logs or runtime logs.

If the intermittent issue is occurring for all consumers of the api endpoint , the issue could be on the platform, either on the ingress or on the runtime components.

Since the issue is happening just for one consumer, I will look into the client libraries on the consumer side trying to make the call and the network path from the consumer to the Ingress loadbalancer.

There was a known issue regarding intermittent 404s - which was fixed in 1.8.3 -  https://cloud.google.com/apigee/docs/hybrid/release-notes#December_05_2022

Intermittent 404's were seen at the Apigee Ingress Gateway due to an inconsistent configuration delivery mechanism. (Fixed in Apigee hybrid v1.8.3)
