Apigee x with a serveless backend (cloudrun) in a vpc

I have a backend that runs on Cloud run inside a VPC.

The backend is not reachable by Apigee. I put an internal load balancer in front of the cloud run, and i configured a DNS entry (A). the problem now is that when i add my internal LB's URL (that ends with .internal) Apigee doesn't resolve it: 

targetendpoint_***.resolvedAddress  -> address_not_resolvable.

but when i put the IP address of the internal LB, it works fine.
