$330 deducted from our credits just for enabling Apigee

A few days ago, I created a google a/c under my company a/c and so did my colleague. We both got Rs 32,000 in credits.

Both of us enabled Apigee API and I just created one proxy where as my colleague did nothing else - but today we both got a mail that we have $50 left in credits.

We immediately deleted both our projects.

I don't get how $330 got deducted just for enabling the Apigee API.

The evaluation would be more appropriate rather than a PAYG account

I'm assuming you have also created an Apigee PAYG instance ie Apigee gateway node/s, and potentially as part of provisioning this, other additional networking such as load balancers. These all incur costs

Yes, this was our PAYG accounts using our work addresses. But this is a bit misleading to use Apigee at a minimum $750 / mo even if we wanted to just test it out.
