Excited to share with you the third 4MV4D "API Proxy" part of Programming of APIs series that talks about how to create a simple reverse proxy in Apigee Edge & Do API Management like simple JSON 2 XML API Transformation.
Apigee Edge sits in between your client that makes API call & server where your existing APIs or legacy services are running. The amount of latency that Apigee Edge adds to your API is negligible compared to out of the box features that platform provides in addition to scaling your legacy APIs by caching them in Apigee Edge platform.
In above video, We use http://mocktarget.apigee.net/json as target API & create a simple API Proxy in Apigee Edge. We will attach JSON 2 XML Policy in response section of one of the flow to transform the response from JSON 2 XML.
