smartdocs - developer portal (drupal 8)

Dear Team,

We have edge OPDK installed version 4.50.00.

We have installed a developer portal for Apigee (drupal based, on premise).

However, we are not finding the smartdocs under "content" menu.

Do we need to install smartdocs seperately in developer portal ?

The documentation is not very clear for me.

Can you please guide me?

In Drupal 8 , we have "Apigee API Catalog" module.

By Default it will be enable if not you can enable in module page.

Then, You can find new content type - API Doc (/node/add/apidoc)- please use this for API Documentation

If you wanna this content type under "content" menu - then you can check on admin menu
