Node.JS target retired in ver 4.50.00 but still working

From the deprecated features page - node.js target (using trireme) the retirement date is 7/15/2021 and the private cloud version stated is 4.50.00 which is released already and nodejs target continues to work.

Does the retirement date mean that the feature is not removed yet and will be removed on 7/15/2021?

The "retirement date" for private cloud is necessarily vague as it's always possible (although not always supported) to run older versions of the software. Personally, I would read that as "new releases on or after 7/15/2021 will not run node.js targets".

Perhaps more critically though is that this date is also an end of support date (see https://docs.apigee.com/release/release-stages - deprecated vs. retired) so even if you're running an older (and otherwise supported) version which can run node.js targets you won't be able to get support for them.
