Any suggestion for API monitoring and alerting outside of Apigee?

Hi Team,

With basic / standard Apigee SaaS license, API monitoring is not included. Thus, we are looking for some external or thirds party compatible solutions. Any suggestions for the same?

Many people use their external log aggregation and monitoring system for also monitoring and alerting on Apigee events. This requires that they instrument their API Proxies to log to that external system.

I am speaking of things like Google Cloud Logging and Monitoring (formerly known as Stackdriver) , Splunk, Datadog, or AWS Cloudwatch.

The Monitoring and Alerting capability built into Apigee is more detailed and API-specific than what you can do out of Google Cloud Monitoring or Splunk, but if you don't have the premium Apigee feature, those other systems may suffice.
