I assigned decode JWT policy in my proxy flow request and used assign message policy to set payload. What did I miss out?

You asked the verify-vs-decode question in another post this morning, which I answered.

Regarding the 404, The AssignMessage won't cause a 404.

You possibly have a proxy pointing to a system that is returning 404. You need to examine your proxy more closely. The problem is not in the AssignMessage policy. Also it probably has nothing to do with the JWT either (your title was "Need help with JWT Token"... but the fact that you have a DecodeJWT policy in this proxy is probably irrelevant.)
