Hi,

For decision on migration from Apigee 4.18.X to either to 4.19.01 or 4.19.06.

1. Difference between 4.19.01 or 4.19.06 can be found in Release notes "New Features" or is there any other ways ? including bug Fixes reference, which will help us understanding what should be the target Apigee version (either 4.19.01 or 4.19.06 ?) to be migrated to..

2. Port requirements for Apigee 4.18.0X or 4.19.01 or 4.19.06 seems to be same (hence we can safely assume that migrating to higher version .from Apigee 4.18.0X to either 4.19.01 or 4.19.06 have same port requirements, until we require additional JMX ports requirements.

3.what are other information to be considered when migrating from Apigee 4.18.0X to 4.19.01 or 4.19.06 (other than software requirements/topology/port /troubleshooting guide listed when migrating to new version. Like migrating from Classic Edge UI to new Edge UI (could be one of the thoughts)

Do we have any such information/best practices listed ?

1.Please test in your environments and see what you learn based of your testing. It's good to be in latest.

3. Go thru below for new edge UI and may need a new VM if you are on-prem

My recent experience was great which we did from 4.18.01 to 4.19.x and also from little older version from 4.16.09 to 4.19.x (multi-upgrade) but it needed good planning and testing.

Over all its good experience.

Good Luck and post if you face any issues..

@vinay what was the Topology design changes cosidered during such migration.

1. Adding the seperate node for New Edge UI (which will require separate node, hence changes to overall Topology . Does Classic Edge UI is supported on 4.19.06.06 (per apigee docs it indicates it support until 4.19.06) but do not have clarity on support of Classic Edge UI with 4.19.06.06 ?

2. Adding Edge-SSO which could be design requirements .

3. Usage of Apigee monit as a addon feature.

Do we have any such lists based on which overall Topology/design can be analyzed further which can be considered during such migration including analyzing the features from Release notes ?
