OpenLDAP credentials changed and got reverted back to old credentials

Hi,

I am facing a very strange issue. We have a multi-dc setup and saw that Apigee sysadmin credentials got changed to a new value when inspected in openldap. The password got reverted back to old value after a few hours. We didnt change any system settings.

Also, the sysadmin credentials in dc2 was fine and had the old one. Can someone let me know what would be the cause of the issue ? Before the issue got fixed, we noticed that dc2 cassandra nodes were down and they were restarted. Could cassandra nodes going down cause sysadmin password credential change in openldap

We have management server and openldap installed in the same node

No. Unless someone accidentally reset password above situation is not possible.
