Multi region deployment of Apigee

Hi Team,

I am new in Apigee and developing a POC for same in Google Cloud - and requirement is:

1- Multi region deployment of Apigee Edge, can we deploy in 5 regions?

2. Should I have multi Apigee installed on VMs for the regions not supported ?

1. Yes - you can ask for additional regions when you provision Apigee.

2. I don't understand the question.

What is "Multi Apigee"?

And what do you mean "on VMs for the regions not supported" ?

It depends,


If this is OPDK(Private Cloud), you can create more than one region (region string in the config, i.e. dc-1, dc-2, dc-3 etc). This considered advanced configuration, I suggest consulting with professional. See the docs for two DC's, for three or more, you might consult support

If you are talking about Public Cloud (SaaS) - you can ask\add additional regions (see the spec sheet from Apigee Pricing web-site)

Anyway, clarify what's Region in your understaning
