After successfully setting up Alert Rules, I have found that when trying to webhook an Alert Rule notification into Microsoft Power Automate (formally called "Flow"), the Alert Rule will not accept the webhook URL.
The Edge UI does not give a very descriptive error, so I tried using the management API, where I received the following 400 error;
{"errorCode":2,"status":400,"message":"Notifications[0].Destination: greater than max"}
Unfortunately the webhook URLs from Power Automate are very long (234 characters) and there's no way around that size.
From testing it looks like the maximum character limit for an Alert Rule webhook notification URL is 200 characters.
Any thoughts about increasing the size of the webhook URL allowed?
