Response cache not working in a shared flow

Hi,

I was trying to implement Response cache policy for acondition flow in my proxy. For the first call, response cache polcy in response flow is caching the response sent from the backend and from the subsequest call for the same request.uri the response is coming from the response cache policy. But when I tried to implement the same in shared flow, all the subsequent calls to apigee are forwarding to backend call. Please let me know if I can implement response cache policy in a shared flow. (cache key as request.uri )
