Qpid maximum depth exceeded

I am unable to get analytics data from few days. By seeing logs i got know the problem is apid maximum depth is increased.

I check the connection between the components everything is good. all components are up and running. I want to resize the qpid depth i found some related answer from apigee community.

NOTE: For Apigee Edge version 17.01 and newer, we do not recommend the resize of Qpid queues, the version of Qpid in this version automatically sets the size of the queue. If qpid capacity becomes a problem, we recommend adding new Qpid nodes.

I feel the above NOTE is temporary solution.

But my doubt is qpid have to clear its old data but its uable to delete it.

So what is the reason behind this issue.
