Akamai and Apigee Integration, 2 way TLS

Hello Team, I am new to APIGEE and we are using SAAS platform. As part of implementation, we have AKAMAI infornt of apigee. Now question is, where should we terminate certs ? My understanding is, that should be on apigee layer and Akamai should act as a forward side and should not cache any of the content.

You can decide whether to use Akamai to cache content. It might be easier to maintain if you manage all the caching in exactly one layer - either Apigee or Akamai but not both.

As for terminating - yes

Terminate TLS in Akamai, then use 2-way TLS between Akamai and Apigee Edge if you can. Or one way if that is more feasible for you.

Then terminate the TLS between Akamai and Apigee Edge within the Apigee Edge vhost.
