logLevel in Message Logging

We have a requirement where we want to control the logs being logged into a file based on the logLevel. Is there any way, Where we can set Global logLevel based on which logging will happen in the proxy. Suppose if my Global logLevel is set to ERROR, only Message logging policy with logLevel as ERROR should get logged and if Global logLevel is set to INFO, then Message Logging policy with logLevel as INFO and ERROR (both) should get logged.
