Are there plans to include identity provider functionality in Apigee Edge so Apigee can do both an authorisation and authentication?

Hi all, I am keen to know if there are plans to include identity provider functionality in Apigee Edge so Apigee can do both authorisation (OAuth) and authentication(OpenID Connect)?

Tremendous benefits to consumers/providers to be putting both together in API Gateway -- much synergies to be captured.

Is this in the roadmap?

Apigee has announced no plans along those lines.

However, there is a piece of the Google Cloud Platform that covers this - It's called CICP.

I am not a big fan of the name, but it's cool technology and it may do what you want.
