Dear @Mayank Chauhan ,

  • Apigee Developer Portal is built on top of famous Open Source CMS Drupal.
  • You can use related Drupal Contributed Modules to get the Job Done very quickly.
  • You can use Forum Notification module to send out emails automatically.
  • You can also check Subscriptions module which does similar thing.

Just to get back on it, we're looking for a Drupal module which behaves in a similar fashion to the Forum you have for Apigee.

- Users get emails automatically when someone comments on their topic or replies to their comment or mentions them in a comment.

- The above mentioned modules do not send an email notification right away, you have to run the cron for the developer portal to send emails.

Thanks,

Mayank

@Birute Awasthi : Do you have any suggestions for us ?

hi @Mayank Chauhan!

for the community.apigee.com this comes out of the box with the platform we use.

I totally see how this would be a great feature on the dev portal. You should suggest it as an idea as our product team takes into consideration user suggestions when building out a roadmap: https://community.apigee.com/content/idea/post.html?space=15

@Tejaswini Ravindra @Chris Novak any chance this is on the roadmap for the Apigee dev portal?

Hello there, Yes this is a useful feature indeed. To Birute's point , we are considering integrations with / having easy plug ins with forums or Q&A type software that already has these capabilities for the next iteration of dev portal.

Nice, it will be really useful for sure
