Developer portal smartdocs api request form on HTTPS

We use the developer portal on port 8079 with TLS. Portal domain and management domain are same.

The API request form doesnt work. The request is:

http://<DOMAIN>:59001/smartdocs/v1/sendrequest?targeturl=http%3A%2F%2F<DOMAIN>%3A9001%2F<PATH>;

Is 59001 the smartdocs port? Can this port work with TLS?

How can work the smartdocs request on 59001 on HTTP, if the portal use HTTPS?

If I use HTTP basic auth in HEADER, then can /v1/sendrequest broadcast the HEADER to apiproxy?

Thanks!

What is the actual error you are seeing?

Have you configured the url on admin/config/smartdocs under "Advanced Settings" => SmartDocs proxy URL?

Assuming you're using the on-premise version of Edge, have you installed Smartdocs there? See https://docs.apigee.com/private-cloud/v4.19.01/install-smartdocs.
