Literally cannot find the meaning of OPDK. Please help me.. 🙂
Solved! Go to Solution.
OPDK stands for On-Premises Deployment Kit.
Two versions of Edge historically have same core binaries packaged into two offerings:
* On-Cloud or SaaS offering
* in customer Data Centers, On-Premises offering.
Nowadays reality is a bit complex, there is no exact parity feature sets between two deployments due to a number of reasons. I.e., a lag on porting On-Cloud features to On-Premises version; Integrated scalable Analytics is available OOBT on-cloud but should be implemented bespoke in on-premises installations. And yet the core feature set is equivalent.
