Install Edge apigee-setup utility on a node with no external Internet connection

Hi Team,

I'm currently installing on a single node to prepare for an On-Premise installation without internet for our customer. I have setup a fresh install vm with CentOS 7. I have followed the instructions found at https://docs.apigee.com/private-cloud/v4.18.05/install-edge-apigee-setup-utility.

I have disabled all external repos to prevent CentOS and Epel to call out when trying to install Apigee-Setup, however, I am getting an error as show in the pictures attached.

It seems like the parameter $apigeestage found in /etc/yum.repos.d/apigee.repo is showing the value "REPLACE_ME" and I am not sure why this is happening.

Also note that if I have enabled the internet connection, the installation proceeds as usual and the parameter resolves itself. I'm not sure how to move forward.

Thank you for your help.

Regards,

Anthony

Did you set up the local mirror as directed here:

https://docs.apigee.com/private-cloud/v4.18.05/installation-overview#internet

?

you didn't mention that. It's required for setting up Edge on a network that does not have access to an external (internet) repo.

Hi Dino, I have actually followed the steps to create a local mirror repo and have created the tar.gz file. When installing on a fresh server without internet, these errors come up. Thanks.
