Open Banking accelerator node, npm, and gulp versions

We are trying to leverage the open-banking accelerator hosted here https://github.com/apigee/openbank but we are getting some errors with Node.js which seem to be related to the node, npm and gulp versions. We have managed to deploy the solution (had problems with versions mostly in this step) but still cannot make it pass all the tests.

What are the recommended Node.js, npm and gulp versions? Also is the branch master the one we should be looking at?

I'm having the similar issues, firstly, I can to manually find and replace the default developer email address in several script and config files, and now it's run through but it can't find the test scripts.
