Urgent. Updating edge-sso cert

Hi, the certificate used for edge-sso is expiring. Question. Can I just disable SAML on the hi, stop the edge-sso module, reeplace the certs by deleting expired and replacing with new cert of same name and then restart the edge sso models, enable SAML on the UI. Will that work or is it more complex than that? This is urgent since carts expire tomorrow

So turns out, just need to update metadata xml file. SAML IDP cert was expiring. I am thinking all have to do is replace XML with new one, same name and restart the sso module. Can someone let me know if this is incorrect? Thanks.
