Replication issue in Postgres Standby and UI doesn't show analytics data

We have one cluster which was running fine. Last week we found the analytics data is not showing in the UI, whereas earlier it was working fine. During troubleshoot we found replication was not happening in the standby postgres node. We enabled replication in the standby node and it started working fine.

Is there any specific reason why the replication stopped suddenly?
