Custom Dev portal

Is it possible to create our own stand alone dev portal ? If a company has recurring changing requirements for dev portal and do not want to invest in Drupal resource , is it possible to built stand alone dev portal using Apigee EDGE ? Something like React or Angular.

Yes and No. 🙂

Well, from a UI perspective, you can certainly stand up your own Custom Dev Portal, but you would need to keep in mind that there are tie-ins to API Management pieces, like the developer and app management capabilities. These would be crucial from the API management/gateway functionality perspective.

Having said that, like all good, well thought out products, Apigee does have management APIs that your custom UI can use behind the scenes to make it all happen.

Thanks. Can you explain "tie-ins to API Management pieces" part. Any specific example would also help to understand. Anything important or something vital that these APIs doesn't allow ?

I have the same requirement. Have you achieved this? if yes can you please help with the steps to be taken to get this done.
Customer is looking for frontend to be in react.js.
