Is it possible to connect Apigee to MSSQL ?

I'm intended to connect Apigee directly to MSSQL. I have followed an example described in this question but I have an error:

Error uploading proxy: Unable to read/find APIProxy contents.

I'm using version Version 4.17.09.00 on premise.

You are experiencing a problem that is unrelated to the connection to MS SQL Server. Maybe the structure of the zipfile you are uploading is corrupted?

Why not try something simpler, more basic? Get the upload of a basic loopback proxy working, and then proceed to something more complicated.

Yes, I'm aware that this error is not related to my question. What I'd like to is to use Apigee directly with MSSQL, I have not find information yet.
