Scenario based question on quota. Please read the question below to answer.

You have a client for which the quota is set to one month. The client observed that the quota is being expired way before the expectations. What action you are going to take? a) Set daily quota, b) Check traffic c) Check analytics d) you will increase the quota in the API product. What should be the correct answer?

Hi @mrinmayashrivastava, we need to look into few things before taking an action.

The client observed that the quota is being expired way before the expectations.

Case 1 - If this happening without the client making the calls/requests

Then we need to look into analytics(for Proxy Success/Target Failure calls) or use Apigee Sense to check for Bot calls & minimize them.

Case 2 - If client/app requires to make more number of calls.

Either use Daily Quota or Increase the Quota.

We can also use a single Quota policy which can be configured for Month, Day and Hour based on some Identifiers.
