What is the data retention length for Audit Logs on Edge Cloud - free and paid ?

Customer is asking for Audit logs retention length for Edge Cloud (free and paid).

I reviewed the Audit docs here and there is no mention of Audit Logs data retention (length of time).

Also reviewed the Spec Sheet for Edge Cloud here. Analytics data retention is mentioned but no mention about Audit logs. Is it the same? If not, can someone please provide those details?

Yes, Robert,

we don't specify a time limit on retention of information in the audit logs.

I think we should do. I'll raise a request that we do that.

For now, it's unlimited, but not defined.

In general to find the terms, you can look at the spec sheets.

The one you want in particular I guess is the Apigee Edge Cloud user-based licensing spec sheet.

But as you can see , there is nothing there that specifies limits on things like

• number of API products
• number of developers registered
• number of API Proxies
• length of retention of audit logs
• and so on.

We're working to tighten up those definitions.
