Response Cache Location

Hello

I am little confused with Response cache policy.

4mv4d says it automatically gets attached to target response if you attrach to proxy request. But, it didn't happen in my case.

Also, in best practice section in APIGEE site, the location to cache is specified as Proxy Response and not Target. It says

"Whenever possible, try to have the response cache policy that populates the cache execute at the ProxyEndpoint response PostFlow as late as possible"

please let me know a few more details:

1) is it an onprem or cloud version ?

2) how many targets are available ?

3) are you doing any additional processing of the response ?

if possible pls share a screenshot of the proxy configuration.
