Apigee upgrade from 4.16.09 to 4.18.01 nginx is core dumping

There were no errors reported during upgrade.logs are showing :

./nginx -T nginx: the configuration file /opt/nginx/conf/nginx.conf syntax is ok nginx: [emerg] zero size shared memory zone "perclient" nginx:

We released an update to Edge, version 4.18.01.01, that fixes this issue. See the release notes for more information:

We tried this solution and it worked for us. There was no indication that the apigee yum update did not work
