location of cassandra snapshots

Not applicable

Cassandra maintains snapshots for the SS Tables. We have fully redundant NFS mounts.

Is it’s possible to change the location where cassandra snapshots are written to (such as NFS mounts) at the global scope and/or at the keyspace/column-family scope.

You can only change the tag name instead of the default timestamp format; you can then copy the files to your backup location;

it's painful to copy those file manually. you can use script/tool such as tabesnap; you can search on google.com; I tried 'cassandra-cloud-backup.sh' that did trick.
