Is Microgateway still supported if customer modifies source code?

hello Apigeeks,

Customer is considering cloning repo and modifying Microgateway source code or perhaps even latest Node source code. If they clone either repo and modify the code (custom build), will Apigee still support their Microgateway instances? To be clear, from a licensing perspective, would either customization void their support/warranty?

Microgateway will not be supported in the source code is modified. At that point, it is not tested by us and we'd supporting code not written by us. For the same reason, we do not support (as in debug, troubleshoot or fix) custom plugins.

If the code changes you think can benefit many customers, you can open a GitHub issue or better yet, submit a PR. We have had other customers submit PRs to the repo. If we accept it, then it will be part of the supported code.
