When expanding/decommissioning Cassandra nodes, do we need to run setup - config on RMP nodes?

When expanding or decommissioning cassandra nodes, do we need to run setup - config on RMP nodes with new/updated list (config file) of CS nodes?

As per below documentation it is not required. But noticed that we had to run setup on RMPs as well to fix issue after adding new CS nodes.

Please suggest.

Hi Prasanth,

You are correct - a restart of the Routers and MPs is required when adding Cassandra. I am going to add those steps to the doc.
