Javascript is not working sync

1. As per Apigee documentation, async=false is deprecated but trace shows javascript is getting called asynchronously. Can you please provide ETA for issue fix using javascript function.

There is a javascript GenerateMessageID.js in API proxies which generates random transaction ID. We are facing an issue where this id is getting generated intermittently.When trace is open, TransID is always getting populated

We have opened a support ticket directly with Google/Apigee Engg team and they have confirmed there is a bug in product for incorrect javascript behaviour policy and waiting for ETA for the fix.
