I am Apigee customer and need to know - How Apigee Edge supporting the Scalability and Availability NFRs?

Apigee uses autoscaling groups based on a number of key factors such as CPU utilization. These same autoscaling rules handle automated restarts of unhealthy hosts.

If your project has been configured in more than one region, routing rules will handle availability in a regional outage scenario.

Between these two items, we have a very high availability rate, in excess of our committed values for cloud customers.

If you have specific requirements you could share, we could be more specific in our answers.

Can you please share more details about - Auto Scaling? I am hoping it support resource utilization (Connection Pool, Thread Pool, session pool etc.).

Also, it will be really great if you provide performance details in perspective of response time, I know it also depend on target back end service - but what is in general response time taken for standard service (not huge response data) by Apigee Edge Cloud.
