This article talks about Drupal and Okta integration using SAML scheme. Wondering if its limited to SAML, anyone tried OAuth 2.0 scheme based integration?

What do you mean by OAuth 2.0 ? If you mean OpenID Connect, then the answer is: yes, that works too.
