Configure & connect Microgateway with On-Prem installation over Internet

Hello, We have a situation where we have to install and configure the Microgateway outside our DC. As the Microgateway configuration step requires the On-Prem Runtime URL & the Management server URL, we are planning to expose the management server URL over https (accessible over the internet. Runtime is already opened for internet access). I would like to know if this setup will work before proceeding forward. Can someone chime in ?

Vidya, you don’t need to open the management server externally. The management server endpoint is only needed for “edgemicro Private configure”.

If you have already configured MG for that environment then the MG that runs outside the DC just needs the config file, key and secret. If MG was not configured for that environment then configure it inside your DC, get the config file, key and secret and get MG running.
