Execution Failed at ServiceCallOut

Hi Team,

We are using Apigee on Cloud and 1 out of 1000 calls to ServiceCallOut(Another proxy in same Organisation) fails with "Execution of Service Callout Failed" As this is happening very rarely, its very tough to identify the root cause.

Any suggessions will be greatly appreciated.

Well the first question is, what is the cause of this failure? When things get busy, a likely cause of "failure" is a timeout.

You can read about ServiceCallout timeout settings here.

Avoiding the 1/1000 error may be as simple as relaxing the timeout.

Can you do some further investigation, look in the trace for both proxies and make some diagnosis of the actual cause of failure?
