We're trying to understand how the metric target RPS is derived or what it means in the Apigee Monitoring Dashboard tool. In other words, what makes up the RPS metric. In our scenario we have 1 api proxy that is using only 1 target endpoint. No other proxies are using this target endpoint. We are seeing a significant count ( in the hundreds ) of RPS on the target endpoint however the api proxy transaction counts are in the tens for that same time period.
Any clarification on this metric would be greatly appreciated.
