Social media links in footer

The Drupal portal is a royal pain!

I changed the built-in site-wide footer block and now can't restore the social media links.

The so called "Full HTML" editor removes code (e.g. font awesome tags or images)...

extremely inconvenient!

Two questions:

1. How can I restore the default code of the site-wide footer block?

2. Do you have examples of footer code to copy/paste?

@Anton+Bar ,

Agree, I never use the out of the box footer block. It's highly impossible to track the changes & extremely painful to do html changes using text editor.

If you have seen the theme 101 article, There is a custom_home module, It contains custom blocks. One of the block is footer block. You can edit the html inside templates folder footer.tpl.php file. Once you enable the module, When you navigate to Structure -> Context in admin menu, You will see site wide context, when you edit it , you will see the block section where footer block is enabled in footer region. You can remove the default block & add the block from the custom module that you will see under custom home section on same page.

Footer Default code see below,

<div class="navbar">
<div class="navbar-inner">
<div class="container">
<ul class="social-media-links nav span3">
	<li class="first"><a href="https://twitter.com/apigee" target="_blank"><img alt="Twitter" src="/profiles/apigee/themes/apigee_responsive/images/twiiter-icon.png" /></a></li>
	<li><a href="http://www.facebook.com/apigee" target="_blank"><img alt="Facebook" src="/profiles/apigee/themes/apigee_responsive/images/facebook-icon.png" /></a></li>
	<li class="last"><a href="http://www.linkedin.com/company/apigee" target="_blank"><img alt="LinkedIn" src="/profiles/apigee/themes/apigee_responsive/images/linkedin-icon.png" /></a></li>
</ul>

<ul class="footer-links nav span10">
	<li class="first"><a href="privacy-policy">Privacy Policy</a></li>
	<li class="divider-vertical"> </li>
	<li><a href="terms-use">Terms & Use</a></li>
	<li class="divider-vertical"> </li>
	<li class="last"><a href="contact-us">Contact</a></li>
</ul>
</div>
</div>
</div>

You can have your own version & css using the custom home module , footer block tpl file. You can include css in custom_home.css file inside same module.

Hope it helps.
