On-prem installation

We are planning to install it and we have few questions regarding the installation and components that is present in the installable.

-The license key for the installable includes the developer portal as well.

-Can the developer portal alone can be installed on-prem without Edge

-Can the Developer portal on-prem will be able to connect to APIs deployed in trial edge cloud

-Cassandra / Postgres and other dependencies are included in the yum repo download

This installation is for POC purpose and we are not expecting huge traffic. We are planning to go with 2 core, 8 GB RAM, 100 GB HDD machine for installation.

Will this be sufficient.

Yes, That's correct. You can install developer portal tool. Detailed instructions here.

Yes, You can do that. But, Why do you do that ?

Regarding, Can the Developer portal on-prem will be able to connect to APIs deployed in trial edge cloud

Yes, You can do that as long as onPrem machine has access to internet. But, Instead connecting to Apigee Edge OnPrem why do you connect to trial on cloud ?

Yes, They are. Just follow the installation instructions.
