Notifying Apigee about penetration/performance testing

Not applicable

What is the process to notify Apigee about conducting testing activity (performance, penetration) against their SaaS environments?

I did search for this question, but did not see a process for this specifically. Apologies if this has been answered before.

@aseemhanda ,

Great Question. Just FYI, No need of any sort of apologies, We treat every question same way & it's indeed a great question that will help many others.

1. If you are paid customer of Apigee, You need to notify us through support ticket. Support will work to ensure sufficient capacity in advance.

2. If you are a partner & working with Apigee Paid Customer, If you have access to support channel with a support account that you have received from Apigee customer, Please create a support ticket.

3. If you are a partner & working with Apigee Paid Customer, Don't have support account, Do check if anyone already has access in your team & use same to create a support ticket.

4. If you are a partner, Don't have support account with anyone in your organization, Work with your Apigee Partner point of contact to notify Apigee & work with same to ensure sufficient capacity in advance.

5. If you are a trial user, I don't think you are allowed to do same / will not have any use of doing same in trial account.

Hope it helps.

To add to point #4 in Anil's answer, if you are a customer and currently working with Apigee's customer success team, please inform them of the testing as well (and reference the support ticket number). This will ensure that all parties are made available during the pre-determined test time.
