Is there any way to create a custom user collection

Is there a way to create a custom collection on signup that would be placed in the user folder?

something like this:

In usergrid, you can create a connection from one entity to another.

Suppose you want one or more "comment" entities to be attached to a particular user.

You have 2 collections:

  • users
  • comments

Create a user. Create a comment. Then create the connection between the user and the comment. You can also create a reciprocal connection between the comment and the user.

The connection "name" defines the relationship. In the usergrid docs, they use the name "likes" sometimes. So "user X likes comment A". That would be a possible connection.

I think maybe what you are shooting for is "user X posted comment B". and that works too. Just name your connection "posted", or "owns", or something appropriate to your needs.

You can have "likes" and "owns" connections, of course, and the connected-to entities need not be the same. I can "own" a comment myself, and then "like" a comment that you "own".
