Hello World Proxy doesn't work

Hi, i followed this tutorial:

That shows how to create a "Hello World Proxy".
I followed the document Step by Step, and at the final, i have a proxy, but when i try to access the Proxy Address i receive a "Timed out" error (i'm pointing the proxy to http://mocktarget.apigee.net as explained at the tutorial, that is a URL that works accessing directly).


Does anyone has any idea why?

Inconvenience is regretted , I hate to say it's org provisioning issue that caused due to infra issue. I have created a new org for you. Logout & Login using your existing credentials. You should be all set to explore Apigee Edge.

Keep us posted moving forward if any. Hope it helps.

Inconvenience is regretted. Can you share the proxy bundle to investigate same. Can you create some other proxy with any public endpoint like http://httpbin.org/get , Do you see the same issue ? Please keep us posted.

HI @Anil Sagar, the endpoint is public, i'm using http://mocktarget.apigee.net.

How can i post "proxy bundle"?

Hi @Stayfilm : I assume you are trying in APIGEE Edge and not able to trigger your proxy itself. if yes , how are you testing it, like curl / postman / trace ? Check if there is any proxy setting which is blocking your request.

Attached the sample proxy (followed the same steps which is working fine - tested with different endpoints too).

if this is not working provide screenshot where it is failing / bundle etc. Thanks..

Hi @Sabthar, i have no settings to the proxy.
All that the proxy has is the default configuration.

I tried to make a request by Trace tool and the response is:

I tried import the zip you send but gives the same problem...

How can i provide more information?

@Stayfilm :Guessing could be issue with your organisation(you get any error while starting trace session button??)/proxy deployment issue (http/https)

I am new to APIGEE and created the Hello Word Proxy but its returns the http status code 500.

Can you please open this as a new post ? Also please provide the screenshot of the trace UI so that we can see the issue ? Since you are using Private Cloud and trying to hit https://mocktarget.apigee.net, please confirm you are able to hit it via cURL or open via browser to check connectivity
