Getting close_notify connecting to backend via service callout or target backend.

We are trying to connect to a backend which gives 302 and sets a cookie , but when we are trying to connect we are getting close_notify.

So wanted to know will APigee redirect automatically to a redirect url in location header.

Is close_notify because of SSL issue.
