Logs are not getting generated on edge microgateway

Logs are not getting generated on edge microgateway, i tried by changing the default path as well, but still the same issue.

Please suggest.

@ravi kumar karlapudi, there's probably a regression (in v2.3.1). We have engineering looking at this issue. I will update there once we have a solution.

@prabhat - Is there an issue with microgateway logging in release 2.3.1 ? I'm unable to see any logs in /var/tmp as well as I tried the to_console configuration and that produced nothing. No logging whatsoever is making this very difficult to troubleshoot at all. If there is an issue when will it be resolved?

@David Ryan, this was a regression. It is fixed in 2.3.3. The beta is out now and we plan to release on 6th of Feb

I'm sorry, I don't understand what a regression is in the context. What exactly is the issue?

Logging stopped working in 2.3.1 due to a bug. This has been fixed in 2.3.3.
