Edgemicro start and stop

I have installed and configured edgemicro 2.3.1

Now, if i start the edgemicro from a path , suppose /tmp, I can see the correct status and stop it only under that path.

From other path if i check the status and stop it shows edgemicro not running. Has anyone faced this?

After starting the edgemicro , the edgemicro proxies are not responding too.

This is by design. From 2.3.1 onwards you can issue the reload, stop and status commands only from the path where you gave the start command. I believe this is also documented.

When the start command is issued, a "lock" file is created. The other commands like stop, reload and status need the "lock" file.
