Does Apigee API platform PHPMailer libraries, CVE-2016-10033?

COULD SOMEONE PLEASE tell if Drupal implementation for OpenAPI is using PHPmailer.

There seems to be some vulnerability with this library, so please let me know if someone has some info.

The Apigee developer portal uses the Drupal SMTP module.

Per the relevant Drupal Security Advisory (psa-2016-004), this module uses a modified version of the phpmailer library which is unaffected by CVE-2016-10033.
