How can we control the size of Qpidd logs on Private Cloud 4.16.01.00 or higher ?

The following qpidd logs are growing huge in size in our 4.16.01.00 setup:

/opt/apigee/var/log/apigee-qpidd/apigee-qpidd.log
/opt/apigee/var/log/apigee-qpidd/qpid.log

Can someone please let me know how can we control the size of these files ?

Not an answer, but... just what is IN those log files?

Judging from the internet Q&A, qpidd does not automatically rotate logs, by itself.

You can use the logrotate utility to do that, coupled with a cron job.

On the other hand those log files should be relatively small. Are you experiencing a large number of exceptional events? What's IN there?
